Bonfire!
Big crowd turns out to
celebrate Lag b'Omer.
ore than 150 young adults gathered at the Friendship Circle Wednesday, May 9,
for an evening of food, drinks, Torah and s'mores. Because of rain, dinner was
served in the gym with freshly grilled meat by "king of the grill" Brandon Pomish,
with sides by Chef Cari. Torah on Tap master Rabbi Leiby Burnham mesmerized the
crowd with stories and lessons on Lag b'Omer. S'mores, music, tiki torches and a bonfire completed
the evening in the backyard.
The event, put on by YAD Community Events, was chaired by Aaron Scheinfield, Leah Bold,
Burnham, Pomish and Jodi Satovsky. I]
