DEE" GORDON,
94, died May 12,
2012.
She is survived
by her daughter-
in-law, Marsha
Gordon; brother
Gordon
and sister-in-law,
Abba and Regina
Shapiro; sister and brother-in-law,
Fay and Abraham Brickner; grand-
child, Stacie (Scott) Niskar; nieces
and nephews, Linda Birdsong, Laura
(Benjamin) Bryant, Marcie (Sheldon)
Weinstein, Elise Brickner-Schultz
(Gary), Susan Conway, Debra
(Howard) Wander, Ronald (Karen)
Brickner, and Diane Brickner; many
loving great-nieces and great-neph-
ews; and the wonderful caregivers
from Careminders of West Bloomfield.
Mrs. Gordon was the beloved
wife of the late Jerry Gordon; the
sister of the late Yetta (late Norman)
Kagan, and the late Bessie (the late
Eddie) Wachlarz; aunt of the late
John Birdsong and the late Robert
Wachlarz; mother of the late Joel
Gordon.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment took
place at the Beth El Memorial Park
Cemetery in Livonia. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

DR. STEVEN
MARC JAYE, died
May 15, 2012, at the
age of 66. He lived
in Shan'i, northeast
of Be'er Sheva,
Israel. Born in
Detroit on April 21,
Jaye
1946, he attended
Detroit Mumford
High, Wayne State University and the
Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine in
Cleveland. He practiced podiatry in
Southern California for 10 years
before moving to Israel in 1982, where
he continued his practice.
Dr. Jaye is survived by his son, Joel
Jaye; sister, Marianne (Edward Miller);
nieces, Karen Gabriel, Amy Chandler
and Susan Bradway.
He was preceded in death by his
son, Douglas Jaye; and parents,
Joseph and Edith Jaye.
The funeral was held in Susya,
Israel. Contributions may be made
to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
(www.cff.org).
