West Bloomfield,
died April 12,
2012.
He was the
beloved husband
Altman
of Sandra; loving
father of John
(Leslie Taylor) and Julie (David)
Fishman; devoted grandfather of
Jacob and Eve Altman, and Lauren
and Daniel Fishman; dear brother
of Betty Wagman and the late
Nora Peisner.
A memorial service will be held
at 3 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the
Birmingham Temple, 28611 W. 12
Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI
48334. Contributions may be made
to the Birmingham Temple, Leader
Dogs for the Blind or a charity of
one's choice.
DR. ERIC
BARON, 59, of
Huntington
Woods, died
April 13, 2012.
He was an
internist who
devoted his
Baron
career to improv-
ing geriatric medicine. Dr. Baron
founded House Call Physicians so
that patients could receive office-
quality medical care at home. For
three consecutive years, Dr. Baron
was awarded "Physician of the
Year" by one of the largest home
health agencies in Michigan. He
also served on the board of direc-
tors of the American Academy of
Home Care Physicians.
Dr. Baron is survived by his
wife, Susan Baron; daughter,
Sophia Baron; parents, Dr. Eugene
and Evelyn Baron of Oak Park;
mother-in-law, Patricia Lambert;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeffrey
and Janet Baron of Seattle, Tony
and Gretchen Baron of Huntington
Woods, and Danny and Monique
Baron of Los Angeles; brother-
in-law, Brad Lambert; nieces,
Hannah, Caroline and Katie Baron,
and Lauren Lambert.
He was the dear son-in-law of
the late Noah Lambert.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Sophia Baron Education
Trust, do Michigan Education
