Kravetzker-Gilson

M

arlene and Arthur Kravetzker
of West Bloomfield are pleased
to announce the engage-
ment of their son Randy Sy to Valerie Jean,
daughter of Catherine and Steven Gilson of
Livonia.
Randy is the grandson of Marcia and
Paul Baker, and the late Leah and Sy
Kravetzker. He attended Northwestern
Institute of Technology and earned a certif-
icate as a HAVAC technician. He is working
as a maintenance technician for an apart-
ment complex in Novi and also is a handy-
man in the community.
Valerie, granddaughter of Donna Miller, and Harold and Virginia Gilson, is
working as manager of Ritter's Frozen Custard. She is also a full-time mother to
Kailey, Mason and Parker.
Randy and Valerie will be married in August and will reside in Wixom after a
Tennessee honeymoon.

Goldman 93rd

M

arvin Goldman of Farmington
Hills recently celebrated his
93rd birthday at a dinner party
in his honor. He was joined by his wife of 62
years, Eileen, their children, grandchildren
and a host of close relatives and friends.

BBYO Connect,

a division of BBYO, creates a community of 6th, 7th,
and 8th graders that will be more prepared for the
transition into high school through safe, social and
meaningful experiences that serve as a gateway to
continued involvement in Jewish life.

Nev., formerly of West Bloomfield,

daughter Michelle Tarnow to Eyal Saad,
son of Hanna Maslati and Jonathan Saad
of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Ramat Gan,
Israel.
Ms. Tarnow, a graduate of Columbia
College and UNLV, is a fine arts teacher for
Clark County Public Schools.
Mr. Saad, a graduate of University of
Miami, is a poker room supervisor and
dealer.
A July wedding is planned in Las Vegas.
