Distinguished Physician

r. Joseph C. Honet, 78, of
Franklin, died Feb. 17, 2012.
Dr. Honet was a respected doc-
tor of physical medicine and rehabilita-
tion who held positions of leadership at
local hospitals.
He attended Union College in
Schenectady, N.Y., Albany Medical College
and the University of Minnesota. He
served a fellowship in physical medicine
and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in
Rochester, Minn.
From 1962-64, Dr. Honet served as a
lieutenant commander in the Navy and
chief of physical medicine and reha-
bilitation at the U.S. Naval Hospital in
Oakland, Calif. In addition, he taught at
Albany Medical College, the Mayo Clinic,
Stanford University, the University of

MILDRED P. BECKER, 97, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 18, 2012. She was
formerly of Chicago and Las Vegas.
Mildred had many talents, including
being a hair stylist, electrologist, artist and
amateur matchmaker. Her spunky spirit
will be missed.
She was the adored wife of the late
Harry W. Becker for 59 years. She is
ARLEANE DELIDOW, 73, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 14, 2012. She was a
dental hygentist.
She is survived by her husband, Norton
Delidow; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa
