obituaries Distinguished Physician D r. Joseph C. Honet, 78, of Franklin, died Feb. 17, 2012. Dr. Honet was a respected doc- tor of physical medicine and rehabilita- tion who held positions of leadership at local hospitals. He attended Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., Albany Medical College and the University of Minnesota. He served a fellowship in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. From 1962-64, Dr. Honet served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy and chief of physical medicine and reha- bilitation at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif.
