PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, on Monday, March 5, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall of the Charter
Township of West Bloomfield, 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan, the Township
Board shall meet for the purpose of hearing comments and objections regarding the proposed Nash
Acres Road Improvement Project, including on the petitions submitted, the cost of the project, and the
proposed Special Assessment District No. 144.
The proposed Project is public road milling and resurfacing improvements of Nashway Drive, Boxer
Drive, West Nashway Drive, East Nashway Drive, West Norma Lee and East Norma Lee, and necessary
drainage and intersection (Maple Road) repairs in Nash Acres Subdivisions No. 2 and 3 in the
Township, with a total estimated project cost of $590,964.12, to benefit the 65 parcels of privately
owned and used land with frontage on those public roads in the tentatively designated special
assessment district against which the cost of the improvement would be assessed. The tax parcel

A copy of the petitions, and the plans and cost estimate are on file with the Township Clerk and at the
Township Development Services Department, 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan, for
public examination during normal business hours.
Appearance and protest at the hearing is required in order to appeal the matters to be considered at
the hearing to the State Tax Tribunal. An owner or party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear
in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment, or shall be permitted to file his or her
appearance or protest by letter and his or her personal appearance in such case shall not be required.
