Cherny of West Bloomfield

engagement of her daughter
Kimberly Erin Cherny to Adam Eli Stern,
son of Dr. Milton and Barbara Stern of West
Bloomfield.
Kimberly is a graduate of Michigan State
University with a master's degree in educa-
tion. She is a fifth-grade teacher in Troy.
Kimberly's father is the late Seymour
Cherny. Grandparents are Ida Cherny of Oak
Park, the late Sigmund Cherny and the late
Rose and Sidney Silver.
Adam attended classes at Eastern
Michigan University before obtaining licen-
sure as a real estate agent and as a loan officer. He works as a real estate agent
and as an account executive for a mortgage lender in Birmingham. His grand-
parents are Rose Shoskes of Boca Raton, Fla., and the late Morris Shoskes, and
the late Nick and Rose Stern.
An August wedding is planned.

Bloomfield are excited to announce
the engagement of their son Justin
to Janice Rice, the daughter of Robert
and Brenda Rice and Terry and Kathryn
Durham, all of Sandusky, Ohio.
Justin earned his degree in biology at
the University of Michigan and his medical
degree at AUC College of Medicine. He is an
attending physician in emergency medicine
at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Janice earned her degree in biology at
Bowling Green State University, where she
was also a collegiate swimmer. She earned
her medical degree at WVSOM. She completes her residency in emergency
medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center this June.
After a July wedding, the couple will reside in Toledo, where they have both
taken positions at the Toledo Hospital.
