mitzvah as she reads

Temple Israel in
Imerman
West Bloomfield
Saturday, Feb. 11.
She is the sister of Jeremy, Benjamin
and Elliott. Her proud grandparents
are Judee and Sal Herman and Connie
and Michael Sanford.
Rachel is a student at Mason Middle
School in Waterford. Among her many
mitzvah projects, she felt helping at
Gleaners Food Bank was the one that
was the most meaningful to her.

his bar mitzvah
Friday, Feb. 10, at
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.

He is the son of
Kimberly and David
Kraus and the brother of AJ, Madi and
Bennett. Sharing in the simchah will
be grandmothers Geraldine Kraus and
Christine Skilling and proud great-
grandmother Florence Yutzey.
Maxfield attends O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
To meet his mitzvah requirements, he
performed many activities but felt vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley was
the most meaningful.

ouis and Evelyn Wolff of West
Bloomfield delightedly announce
the engagement of their daughter
Marla Jablonowski to Adam Jahnke, son of
Betta Singer and Keith and Wendy Jahnke,
also of West Bloomfield.
Marla graduated from the University
of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in
Spanish and pre-medicine and earned
her medical degree at the Wayne State
University School of Medicine. She is com-
pleting her dermatology residency through
Wayne State University.
Adam graduated from the University of
Michigan Ross School of Business and received his juris doctor degree from the
University of Southern California Gould School of Law. He practices real estate
law as a partner at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP.
The wedding will be held in August at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

Tischler 90th

arold (Harry) Tischler of
Farmington celebrated his 90th
birthday surrounded by his
immediate family. Present were his wife of
68 years, Pauline; children and grandchil-
dren, Gaye Tischler and husband, Frank
Castrovona; Laurie Tischler Beals and hus-
band, Robert; their daughter Elizabeth; and
granddaughter Kaela Beals Newman; Wendy
(Beals) Nielsen and husband, Michael;
Lauren Beals; and her daughter Olivia
Hanneman. A memorable time was had by
everyone.
