MAD LIFE

H

arr-ite

Nowa,

I

One of the country's most beloved shows, "The
Waltons" became "The Dulltons." "The Fugitive"
was "The Phewgitive," and "The Rifleman"
turned into "The Rifle, Man:' It could happen
only at one place: MAD magazine. And at the
heart of it all was Al Jaffee.

Presenting a meal to guests is an important cultural experience of
the Chaldean community. We invite you to come to the table to
share and enjoy foods that are time-honored traditions of the
Chaldean culture.
$10 for Tasting, registration required by November 3.

As curious as the pages of MAD is the mad, mad, mad life of Al Jaffee
himself. His parents were bitterly divided, and they forced Al to
spend years going back and forth between Savannah, Georgia, and
Lithuania. He finally ended up in New York where, thanks to his art
skills, he became part of the first class of New York City's High
School of Music and Art. The story only gets crazier!

"Mr. Baseball" when he landed a job with the Tigers'
