to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
Sept. 10, at Temple
Beth El in Bloomfield
Township.
Participating in the
Raider
ceremony will be his
parents, Julie and
Stuart, and his brother Joshua. Proud
grandparents are Rhoda and Jordan
Raider. Zachary is also the grandson of
the late Elaine and the late Steven Fish.
Zachary attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was volun-
teering at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

will celebrate his bar
mitzvah at Temple
Shir Shalom on
Sherbin
Saturday, Sept. 10.
He is the brother of
Eve and Sophie and the grandson of
Jerry and Libby Sherbin, and the late
Pearl and the late Lauren Allenspach.
Noah attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School. His mitzvah project
was collection of swim team training
gear for teams in need.

mitzvah on Saturday,
Sept. 10, at

Simtob
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. She is the
sister of Brad Simtob and granddaughter
of Libby and Al Ben-Moche, Frank
Simtob and Marguerite Cohen.
Brooke attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Her mitzvah projects included
volunteering at the Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield.

Bloomfield. Her loving grandparents are
Barbara and Larry Traison and Mollie
Adler. She is also the granddaughter of
the late Harold Adler.
Randi is a student at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. She participates annually in Team
Traison's JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes
and raised almost $70,000 in seven years.

Bloomfield, son of

Vinsky, will become a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Sept. 10, at
Temple Kol Ami in
Vinsky
West Bloomfield.
Sharing in his cele-
bration will be sisters Erin and Marisa,
grandparents Margo and Jerry Kline and
Florence Vinsky. He is also the grand-
child of the late Harry Vinsky.
David attends Dunckel Middle School
in Farmington Hills. His most meaning-
ful mitzvah project was volunteering as a
buddy for the Miracle League.

of Ann Arbor will be
called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah at the
Beth Israel
Congregation on
-4 Saturday, Sept. 10. He
Wardle
is the son of Yvonne
Wardle.
Alexander was very active with his
mitzvah project, themed: "Make me a
Mensch, One Mitzvah at a Time He
helped with a variety of community
service projects including soup kitchens
and homeless shelters.

Haenick 50th

vita and Dr. Edward •
Haenick of Bloomfield Hills
celebrated their 50th anni-
versary at Ocean Prime restaurant in
Troy on Sept. 3. Attending were their
children, Michelle and Dr. Michael
Kobernick, Dr. Michael and Amy
Haenick, Marty and Liz Haenick; their
brother and sister-in-law, Donald and
Sandy Miller of Warren, Ohio. Their
grandchildren are Ian Kobernick,
Eden Kobernick, Dr. Aaron and Paige Kobernick, Jordan and Lisa Kobernick,
Ellie Haenick, Evan Haenick and Eli Haenick. The couple also celebrated during
a trip in June to Eastern European countries.
