SARAH SNITZ GALER, 94, of West
Bloomfield, died July 15, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Flora and Harold Cherny
of West Bloomfield, Rosalyn and Aaron
Stern of Florida; son and daughter-in-
law, Stan Snitz of West Bloomfield and
life partner, Susan Boraks; grandchildren,
Terri and Mark Rotenberg, Marci and
Jeff Graff, Lauri and Dr. Jeffrey Schwalb,
Ron and Cheryl Stern, Todd Stern, David
Stern, Neal Snitz and Hilary and Seth
Golden; 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Galer was the beloved wife of the
late Norman Snitz and the late Morris
Galer.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

HOWARD GREENE, 80, of Southfield,
died July 12, 2011.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Alan Greene and Marilyn
Peters of Bloomfield Hills; daughter and

Beverly Hills; grandchildren, Sara Greene,
Noah Graham and Alex Greene.
Mr. Greene was the beloved husband of
the late Libby Greene.

89, of Southfield, died
July 10, 2011.
She was loved dearly
by family and friends.
She enjoyed playing
cards, creating needle-

and being with her

her experiences during
the war at the West
Bloomfield Holocaust
Memorial Center.
Mrs. Lang is survived
by her husband of 60 years, Harold Lang;
son and daughter-in-law, David and
Marjory Lang of Moreland Hills, Ohio;
grandchildren, Madelyn and Jonathan;
sister-in-law, Eva Schonfeld of Los
Angeles, Calif.
She was the loving sister of the late
Martin Schonfeld, the late Charlotte
Firestone and the late Tibor Schonfeld.
