Mr. Couf was the brother of the late
Norman Couf and the late Albert Couf.

ALLAN EPSTEIN, 57,
of West Bloomfield,
died July 7, 2011.
He was president
and owner of Sure-Fit
Laundry since 1990 as
well as a member of
Temple Israel Bowling
Epstein
League and a past offi-
cer of the B'nai David's Men's Club.
Mr. Epstein is survived by his beloved
wife for over 32 years, Claire Epstein;
loving parents, Natalie and Merel
Epstein of West Bloomfield; devoted
children, Aaron Epstein of Waterford,
Carli Epstein of Olympia, Wash., Chad
Epstein of Walled Lake; brother, David
Epstein (the late Ronnie Epstein);
mother-in-law, Priscilla Bachaiov.
He was the adored brother-in-law of
Abby and Randy McBride and Sherri
and Jerry Nosanchuk; much cherished
nephew of Bernie and Cathy Schrott,
Haskell and Barbara Adler, Harold and
Joyce Lipsitz, Shlomo Duben, Leslie and
Bob Craig.
Mr. Epstein was the grandson of the
late Cantor Hyman and the late Ruth
Adler, the late Hy and the late Bella
Lipsitz, the late Sam and the late Bess
Epstein, and the late Edith Schrott.

RENDA HERTZ, 73, of
West Bloomfield, died
July 9, 2011.
She was very active
with Temple Beth El,
was a Mitzvah Model
Honoree in 2003
and honored by the
Hertz
temple's sisterhood in
2004. She was also a
past board member of American Jewish
Committee.
According to Rabbi Syme, "Renda
Hertz was a gentle, messenger of God,
an angel who brought caring into the
lives of countless men and women. So
many people loved her. We all will miss
her smile, her grace, her goodness."
Mrs. Hertz is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Bradford and Stefanie
Ebner of California; daughter, Nadine
Urben; grandchildren, Brooke, Alexa
and Grant Ebner, Randy Wertheimer
and Nancy Katzman, Jordon and Renee
Wertheimer and Daniel Joyaux; broth-

She was the beloved wife of the late

mother of the late Ruth Canon; the
