SATOVSKY, 95, of
West Bloomfield,
died June 25, 2011.
He was the owner
of Lester Building
Company. He was
also a member
Satovsky
of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek and Knollwood
Country Club.
Mr. Satovsky is survived by his
son and daughter-in-law, Neil and
Joni Satovsky of West Bloomfield;
daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and
Harvey Rubin of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Brian Satovsky, Nicole
and Stone Melet, Jennifer and Scott
Radis, Larry and Jennifer Thurswell,
Rebecca and Dr. Michael Schostak,
Adam Rubin and Natalie Kulbersh;
great-grandchildren, Harrison,
Phoebe and Ruby Radis, Luke and
Skylar Thurswell, Oscar and Bea
Margarette Melet, Olive Schostak.
He was the beloved husband
for 66 years of the late Margarette
Satovsky; the loving brother of the
late Abraham Satovsky and the late
Naomi Eder; the dear brother-in-law
of the late Toby Satovsky and the late
Dr. Joseph Eder.

ARNOLD SMITH, 80, of Oak Park,
died June 22, 2011.
An Army veteran of the Korean
Conflict, Mr. Smith received the
Purple Heart. He owned Wallach Fish,
which then became H. Band Fish
Market.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife
of 54 years, Sonia Smith; sons, Shelby
Smith of Oak Park, Eric Smith of Oak
Park; brother and sister-in-law, Rick
and Delores Smith of Arizona; sister,
Goldie Ephardt; brother-in-law and
sister-in-law, Steven and Merle Band;
nephew, Michael Band; other nieces
and nephews.
