RICE, age 92, died
on June 24, 2011.
Mr. Rice was the
beloved husband
of the late Faye;
adored father of

Kaufman, Sheri
Brown and David
Rice (the late Nancy Weisman); lov-
ing grandfather of Scott Kaufman,
Robin (Lee) Trepeck, Aaron (Maud),
Justin, Michael, Eric and Allison
Brown, Adria and Jordan Rice; proud
great-grandfather of Jamie and Andy
Trepeck, Benjamin and Jonathan
Brown; cherished uncle of Dr. Sandy
and Joan Weitzbuch. Also survived
by dearest friend Bette Bonin, won-
derful cousins and friends.
The funeral took place in Chicago
on June 27. A memorial service
was held at the home of Susan and
Stuart Kaufman, at 424 Willits,
Birmingham, (248) 540-5551, the
evening of Wednesday, June 29.

ESTHER ROTHENBERG, 89, of Oak
Park, died June 20, 2011.
She was a member of the
Rothenberg Family Club, which
began in the 1930s.
Mrs. Rothenberg is survived by
her sons and daughters-in-law,
Steven and Gayle Rothenberg
of Farmington Hills, Stuart and
Susanne Rothenberg of Southfield,
Mark Rothenberg of Oak Park;
grandchildren, Robert and Sarah
Rothenberg, Jeffrey and Dr. Nicole
Rothenberg, Scott Rothenberg,
Andrew Rothenberg; great-grand-
children, Hannah Rothenberg,
Brandon Rothenberg, Ethan
Rothenberg, Natalie Rothenberg.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Berek Rothenberg.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Services and
interment at Workmen's Circle in
Clinton Township. Arrangements by
