ROSE DWORMAN, 96, of Sugarland,
Texas, died June 15, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Susan and Stuart
Oshinsky of Sugarland; sisters, Sylvia
Hudosh of Los Angeles and Norma
Heiman of Southfield; grandchildren,
Amy Levine, Marc Oshinsky, Steven
Dworman and Howard Dworman;
many loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Mrs. Dworman was the beloved wife
of the late Samuel Dworman; mother
of the late Robert Dworman; sister of
the late Norman Garris.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment at
the Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

TALBOT "BUDDY" ELIAS, 76, for-
merly of Oak Park, died peacefully at
his home on May 28, 2011, in Delray
Beach, Fla., surrounded by his family
and friends, following a long battle
with renal cell cancer.
After moving to Florida, he enjoyed
spending time outdoors on his boat,
at the pool and, in the last few years,
on his motorcycle. He was a free spirit
who loved the wind in his hair and
the sun on his face. He will be missed
by all.
Mr. Elias is survived by his loving
wife, Carole; his devoted daughter,
Dawn Messina of Lake Worth, Fla.; his
son, David Cece of Delray Beach; his
brother, Myles of Sarasota, Fla.; grand-
sons, Matthew, Josh and Gabe.
FRANCES FISHER, 84, of Oak Park,
died June 18, 2011.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, James and Cheryl
Bloom of Orchard Lake, Dr. Paul and
Susan Bloom of South Lyon, Robert
Bloom of California, Stephen and
Donna Fisher; brother and sister-
in-law, Harry and Rosalie Melman
of Howell; sister and brother-in-law,
Pamela and Howard Weindling of
Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jeremy

74, of Boynton
Beach, Fla., died May
18, 2011.
He survived the
Ho nUST Holocaust as a
Stnitiroft "hidden child" in
Holland. Moving to
the Detroit area in 1970, he was active
at Oak Park's Young Israel. Mr. Frances
retired to Boynton Beach in 2004,
where he was a founder of the Anshei
Chesed Congregation. He was a scrap
metals broker and CEO of Metaltex
Incorporated.
Mr. Frances is survived by his
beloved wife of 48 years, Leah (Berg)
Frances of Boynton Beach; children,
Rabbi Jeffrey Frances (Cindy) of
Rockville, Md., Jonathan (Dana) of
Wellington, Fla., and Jodi Goldstein
(Yitzchok) of Brooklyn, N. Y.; brothers,
Herman (Henie) and Daniel (Bruria)
