brate her bat mitzvah
service at the Jewish
Community Center
Saturday, May 14. She
Steinberg
is sister of Lisa. Her
proud grandparents
are Fira and Benjamin Kleyner and
Sarra Broker. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Gregory Steinberg.
Gloria attends Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She felt
volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley
was the most meaningful of her mitz-
vah projects.

Weiner, daughter of
Amy and Ron Weiner
and sister of Hannah,
will celebrate her
bat mitzvah during
Havdalah services
Saturday, May 14,
Weiner
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.
Sharing in the simchah will be proud
grandparents Sara and Marvin
Hoffman. Abigail is also the grand-
child of the late Phyllis King Weiner.
Abigail is a student at Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
was donating to Send-A-Kid to Camp/
Reachout America.

Aaron Berger.
Jillian received her bachelor's degree from
Michigan State University and a juris doctor
from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is
an associate attorney at Litigation Associates
PLLC.
Joey received his bachelor's degree from
Wayne State University. He is the owner of
Joey's Jewelry and Loan in Hazel Park.
A summer wedding celebration is

Schwartz of Greenville, S.C., for-
merly of Michigan, are thrilled
to announce the engagement of their son
Phillip Justin to Michelle Beth Schwartz,
daughter of Neal and Debra Schwartz of
Atlanta, Ga.
PJ graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in reli-
gious studies and Michelle graduated in
2010 with a B.S. in special education.
PJ is completing his fourth year of rab-
binical school in Cincinnati at HUC Institute
of Religion. In addition, he is earning a mas-
ter's of educational administration, special-
izing in Jewish Studies at Xavier University.
Michelle is a special ed teacher at Twenhofel Middle School in northern
Kentucky.
PJ will be ordained in June 2012 with hopes of joining a congregation in the
south.
The couple will live in Cincinnati and will be married May 29, at the Legare-
Waring House in Charleston.
