mitzvah Friday, May
13, at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield.
She is the daughter
Rotenberg
of Terri and Mark
Rotenberg and the
sister of Jared. Her grandparents are
Flora and Harold Cherny, Emily and
Norman Rotenberg and Zona and
Richard Ribiat. Sharing in the simchah
will be great-grandmothers Sarah
Galer and Ida Cherny. Her late great-
grandparents are Louise and Manuel
Rotenberg, Norman Snitz, Sigmound
Cherny and Ida and Fred Herbst.
Olivia is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Helping children at Friendship Circle
in West Bloomfield was the mitzvah
project she felt was the most meaning-
ful.

14, at the JCC in
West Bloomfield. He is the brother of
Natalie and Samantha and the grand-
son of David and Gloria Zatkin and
Rhea and Karl Schaefer.
Scott attends Berkshire Middle
School in Birmingham. He was
very happy to volunteer for the FAR
Conservatory of Therapeutic and
Performing Arts-Bowling Program as
part of his community service experi-
ence.

Ryan Seth
Schildcrout of
Huntington Woods
will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 14, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom in Oak Park.
Schildcrout
His parents, Abi and
Doug Schildcrout,
and brothers Zac and Andrew are
looking forward to celebrating with
him on his special occasion. Ryan's
proud grandparents Sallee and Nelson
Lipshutz of Waban, Mass.; and Toni
and Steve Schildcrout of Youngstown,
Ohio, will be there, too.
Ryan attends Norup International
School in Oak Park. His mitzvah proj-
ect was working with the kids in spe-
cial education classes at Norup.

Israel in West
Bloomfield Saturday,
May 14. He is the brother of Noah,
Amanda and Drew. His grandparents
Fred Lebowitz, Bruce Schlussel and
Jacqueline Schlussel will share in the
simchah. He is also the grandchild of
the late Ainsley Lebowitz.
Adam is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. His
most meaningful mitzvah project was
being on the Mitzvah Boys Team for
Relay for Life 2010.

Andrew Joseph
Shuman will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah at
Temple Shir Shalom
in West Bloomfield on
Saturday, May 14. He
is the son of Stacey
Shuman
and Gary Shuman
and brother of Rachel
and William. His proud grandparents
are Margaret and Chester Coccia and
Lorna and Stanley Shuman.
Andrew is a seventh-grader at
Walnut Creek Middle School in Walled
Lake. His most meaningful mitz-
vah project was volunteering at the
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.

Ian David Smith
will be called to
the bimah to read
from the Torah on
Saturday, May 14,
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield as
he celebrates his bar
Smith
mitzvah. He is the
son of Donna and
Ira Smith and the sister of Jacklyn.
Sharing in the simchah will be his
grandparents Marilyn Smith and Leon
F. Mondro. Ian is also the grandchild
of the late Joseph Smith and the late
Janet Mondro.
Ian is a student at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He felt helping at Farmington
Hills-based JARC was the most mean-
ingful of the mitzvah projects he per-
formed.
