Hank Or Henry?
Take your pick! Enjoy either the Hank Greenberg golf tourney/banquet
or the Henry Ford Hospital "Masters" tastefest.

OTPOURRI
Many people will have to
choose from two major chari-
table events being held on the same night
Monday, June 6.
Guys and gals who are golf addicts or
just love the links will want to spend the
day shooting it out with celebrities and
noted personalities ... then attending a
fabulous banquet with prominent person-
ages, witnessing a sports panel and honor-
ing baseball hall-of-famer Frank Robinson
... all at Oakland Hills Country Club in
Bloomfield Township.
Numerous others will opt for the won-
derful "Dining With the Masters" at the
Henry hotel (the former Ritz-Carlton
Dearborn) where at least 30 fine local chefs
individually cook complete dinners on por-
table stoves for tables of 12 ... with courses
paired with choice wines.
Luckily for the charities, both the Hank
Greenberg Memorial Golf Invitational
in Bloomfield Township and Henry Ford
Hospitals' event in Dearborn are expected
to again be sellouts, with the rush for tick-
ets already having begun with the usual
fervor.
Money raised from the Greenberg will
help fight cancer and assist children's
charities ... Proceeds from Dining With
the Masters will go to the Ford Hospital's
Transplant Institute.
High recommendation is for folks to get
their valuable ducats as early as possible
so as not to be left out ... These are two
very fine affairs.
For information and tickets to the
Greenberg Invitational, call Michigan
Jewish Sports Foundation Executive
Director David Blatt, (248) 592-9323 ... For
the Ford dining biggie info and tickets, call
chairgal Suzanne Gilson, (313) 874-6138.
