JWV serves Yule season
dinner for needy vets.

n Dec. 26, 156 meals were served at the Michigan Veterans Foundation
in Detroit by the Jewish War Veterans Department of Michigan.
JWV members attending were Herman Sherline, Bernard Feldman
and, from the Ladies Auxiliary, Eileen Feldman.
Assisting were Art Kirsch, Cathy Saracimo, Andrea Ben Yair and her son,
Yossef, all from the Jewish Community Center in Oak Park.
The chicken dinners were prepared by Leo's Country Oven restaurant in
Madison Heights by Leonidas Tsaaganos, owner.
Gifts given at the dinner were T-shirts, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental
floss, razors and soap. LI

TLC is a unique preschool program based on

the concept that children learn seamlessly

through play. We call it Masterminding,

a technique that encompasses the whole

child, not just the mind and body, but the

child's emotional and spiritual sides as well.
