PAUL SILBER died Nov. 3, 2010, in
Citrus Heights, Calif.
He grew up in Detroit and gradu-
ated from Cass Tech and Wayne State
University.
Mr. Silber was the beloved hus-
band of Joanne; devoted father of
Andrew (Catherine) Silber, Mark
(Rachel) Silber and Robert (Miriam)
Silber; adoring Papa to Noah, Ryan,
Maya, Alexa and Aidan Silber. He is
also survived by his loving sister,
Marcia (Donald) Boxman of West
Bloomfield; nieces, Valerie Finberg
and Abbie (John Morrison) Boxman,
and their children, Nicki and Annie
Finberg and Brekken Morrison.
Funeral services took place in
California.

EDITH STEINBERG, 86, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 10, 2010.
She was a member of the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans.

Mrs. Steinberg is survived by her
sons and daughter-in-law, Martin and
Lynda Steinberg of West Bloomfield,
Steven Steinberg of Farmington Hills;
daughter and son-in-law, Jacki and
Robert Crafton of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Karen and David
Alspector, David and Shannon
Steinberg, Lesley Miles and Matthew
Miles.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Abraham Steinberg; the loving sister
of the late Robert Serota and the late
Florence Kahl.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Ronald McDonald House,
3911 Beaubien Blvd., Detroit,
MI 48201 or Jewish Women

Tanglewood Trail, Farmington Hills,

New York/JTA
Atlanta, who was instrumental in helping
the Council of Jewish Federations (CJF)
merge with the United Jewish Appeal
and the United Israel Appeal, has died.
He formerly led the Jewish Federation
