Southfield, died Oct. 27, 2010.
She was active in IRP and Jewish
Family Service and was in the insur-
ance business for over 30 years.
Mrs. Barsdorf is survived by her
son, Jeff Sherman of Simi Valley, Calif.;
daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene
Sherman of Walled Lake, Denny and
Carl Greenberg of Chesterfield, Mo.,
Ruth and Ben Miller of Deerfield, Ill.;
grandchildren, Henry Sherman, Elyse
Sherman, Bryan Greenberg, Rebecca
Greenberg, Jamie Miller.
Mrs. Barsdorf was the beloved wife
of the late John Barsdorf; dear sister of
the late Kurt Ehrmann.

RUTH BIALES, 90,
of Henderson, Nev.,
died Oct. 27, 2010.
She is survived
by her daughter and
son-in-law, Sharon
and Richard Sisler
of Farmington Hills;
Biales
daughter-in-law,
Peggy Biales; grand-
children, Tammy and Steve Dines,
Scott Sisler, Lauren Biales, Zachary and
Brittany Biales; great-grandchildren,
Samantha and Brianna Dines; brother
and sister-in-law, Arthur and Genie
Bromberg; and many loving nieces and
nephews.
She was the cherished wife of the late
Leon "Yorky" Biales and the beloved
mother of the late Michael Biales.
Interment in Austin, Texas.

HARVEY BLOOM, 80, of Southfield,
died Oct. 30, 2010.
He was an executive and owner of
Bloom's Kosher Catering.
Mr. Bloom is survived by his wife,
Karen Levine Bloom; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Robert and Dawn Bloom,
Jeffrey and Kelly Bloom; grandsons,
Trevor and Troy Bloom; sister, Shirlee
Feroni-Bloom; and nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved father of the late
Steven Bloom and dear brother-in-law
of the late Tony Feroni.
