TOBY SHAPIRO, 70,
of Calgary, Alberta,
Canada, died Sept. 25,
2010.
She moved to
Calgary from Los
Angeles in 1972 after
meeting her soul mate,
Shapiro
Phil; and they married
within six weeks of their first date.
Mrs. Shapiro is survived by her
beloved husband, Philip Shapiro
of Calgary; sons and daughters-in-
law, Michael and Lainie Shapiro of
Farmington Hills, Brian and Marianne
Schaffer of Indio, Calif.; grandchildren,
Jacob and Maddie Shapiro and Kylee
Schaffer; brother and sister-in-law, Alan
and Sally Bailey of Los Angeles.
Interment took place in Calgary on
Sept. 28. Contributions may be made
to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of
Canada, 3100-246 Stewart Green S.W.,
Calgary, AB, T3H 3C8.

MARION SHERMAN, 94, of
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 30, 2010.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. William and Teresa
Sherman of S. Pasadena, Calif.; daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Suzanne Boughton
and Howard Kagen of Farmington Hills,
Merle and Paul Graff of West Bloomfield;
brother and sister-in-law, Jay and
Marion Grant of Southfield; sister, Adele
Feldman (the late Harold) of Scottsdale,
Ariz.; grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew,
Jonathan, Linda (Mark), and Alan
(Cheryl); great-grandchildren, Nathaniel,
Connor, Eli and Ella.
Mrs. Sherman was the beloved wife
of the late Harold H. Sherman.
Interment was held at Oakview
Cemetery in Royal Oak. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's choice.

PAUL SILVERMAN, of Southfield, died
Sept. 27, 2010
He is survived by his son, Bryan
Silverman of California; daughter and
son-in-law, Melissa and Peter Bouyounan

Silverman of Georgia, Morris (Shayna)
Silverman of Farmington Hills, Gordon
(Gloria) Silverman of New York; sisters,

BRIAN STOTZKY, 62, of Northville,
died Sept. 27, 2010.
He was the regional vice president
of T.R.W.
Mr. Stotzky is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay
Stotzky and Zachary Diem of Royal
Oak; sister and brother-in-law, Helene
and Mitchell August of Waterford.
He was the devoted son of the late
Maurice "Red" and the late Sylvia
Stotzky; the dear brother of the late
Debby August.
