LORETTA
(CORNFIELD)
GLOBERSON,78,
of Farmington Hills,
died Sept. 14, 2010.
She was born April
18, 1932, in. Detroit
to Sadie and Marice
Cornfield. A tireless
worker from the age
of 12 when she began working for the
family business, she went on to create a
local institution with Baby and Me.
Mrs. Globerson was devoted to
her community and found great joy
in volunteering at Temple Israel, the
Friendship Circle and the Holocaust
Memorial Center, where she took great
pride in being a docent. Her greatest
joy was being around her family, whom
she loved so much.
She is survived by her loving hus-
band of 60 years, Larrie Globerson;
children, Jay Globerson of Ann Arbor,
Eliot and Michelle Globerson of West
Bloomfield and Debbi and Dave
Nosanchuk of Novi; grandchildren,
Adam Globerson, Jamie Globerson,
Matthew Globerson, Jeff Globerson,
Kelsey Ransdell and Katherine
Globerson; sisters, Harriet Travis and
Audrey Lacoff.
Contributions may be made to
the Holocaust Memorial Center of
Detroit or to a charity of one's choice.

ARTHUR DONALD GOLDSTONE,
75, of Fresno, Calif., died Aug. 25, 2010.
He was in the first graduating class
at Mumford High School. He was a
master optician for 45 years. He was
the first in the Goldstone family to
leave Detroit and move to California.
Mr. Goldstone is survived by his
wife, Rita Goldstone; brothers, Dr.
Harvey Goldstone and his wife,
Adrianne (Drexler), Robert and
Barbara Goldstone; children, Dayna
and Richard Bliss, Kim and Lewis Hall,
Kirstin and Mark Moore, Dr. Adam
Goldstone and his wife, Mimi; stepchil-
dren, Andrew and Anita Karsh, Lori
and Robert Williams; 10 grandchil-
dren; one great-grandchild.
He was the son of the late Alexander
and the late Esther Goldstone; brother
of the late Merle Goldstone.
ROSE LASH, 92, of Southfield, died
Sept. 16, 2010.
She is survived by her children,
Santa and Daniel Bagdade of West
Bloomfield, Harvey and Nancy Lash
of West Bloomfield, Dr. Steven and
Carol Lash of Bloomfield Hills, and
Myles and Linda
Lash of Bethesda,
Md.; grandchildren,

She was a loving and dedicated
wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs.
Salk was a polio survivor. She will be
missed by all.
She is survived by her husband,
Gerald; daughters, Melissa Morris,
Nancy (David) Rose; grandchildren,
Jonathan and Kasey Morris, Alicia,
Todd, and Bryan, Peter Wilson, Micah,
Josiah and Grace Rose; sister, Mary
Schwartz.
Private services were held. Donations
may be made to a polio foundation.
