He never fully retired from the
rabbinate and continued to be
an active, devoted member of the
Jewish community in Detroit.
Rabbi Scott will always be
fondly remembered for his
charming accent, larger-than-life
smile and his enduring devotion
to his family and faith.
Rabbi Scott is survived by his
sons, Jeffrey Paul Scott, David
Simon Scott; daughter and son-
in-law, Stephanie Tara Scott
and Jeremy Wilson; brother and
sister-in-law, Philip and Marsha
Scott; loving dog, Motek.
Rabbi Scott was the beloved
husband of the late Ardis K.
Scott.
Interment in Illinois.
