Jennifer and Lowell
Friedman, Max, 6,
and Jacob, 3, of
Huntington Woods

The Friedman family of Huntington
Woods includes mom, Jennifer, a
clinical child psychologist, and dad,
Lowell, a criminal defense and fam-
ily law attorney, who are parents to
soon-to-be-6-year-old Max and his
faithful sidekick 3-year-old Jacob.
Of course, not to be forgotten is
the glue that holds this tightknit
family together — Ernest the cat!
The Friedmans are members of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, where
Jennifer's stepfather is the assistant cantor; both are actively involved in the Jewish com-
munity. Jennifer, among her various executive board assignments, is a past president of the
Young Adult Division the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit; and Lowell is the most
recent Friedman to go on Federation's Grosfeld Mission to Israel, which takes community lead-
ers for 10 days to Israel and Eastern Europe. Maxis entering first grade at Hillel Day School in
Farmington Hills; and Jacob is enrolled at Hillel's new Early Childhood program.
