Shir Tikvah in Troy. He is the big
brother of Alana, Jacob, Julia and
Reuben. Sharing in his simchah are
his grandparents Penny and Harold
Blumenstein of Bloomfield Hills
and Dr. Seymour Stein of Singer
Island, Fla. He is also the grandson
of the late Lucille Stein.
Benjamin is entering eighth grade
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. His
mitzvah project is at the Friendship
Circle, where he is currently a camp
counselor.

Megan is a seventh-grader at
Geisler Middle School in Walled
Lake. Her mitzvah project will
include donating her hair to
Pantene Beautiful Lengths Program
that makes wigs for cancer patients.

Jenna Kate
Goldstein will
celebrate her
bat mitzvah at
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield
Saturday, Aug. 28.
She is the daughter
Goldstein
of Diane and Dr.
William Goldstein
and the sister of Marlee. Sharing
the simchah as Jenna reads from
the Torah will be her grandpar-
ents Maxine and Gerald Flagg and
Suzanne and Lester Goldstein. She
is also the grandchild of the late
Marlene Flagg.
Jenna is a student at Kingswood
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
She has volunteered her time with
children at Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield for several years
and looks forward to continuing
this mitzvah during the years to
come.
