Jeffrey Alexander Ackerman to Melissa
Sara Melshenker, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. George Melshenker of Buffalo Grove,
Ill. Jeffrey is also the son of the late Fred
Ackerman.
Melissa and Jeff met in Miami, Fla., where
they were attending the University of Miami
School of Law and Medicine. Melissa is an
associate at the law firm of Kopka, Pinkus,
Dolin & Eads. Jeffrey is a resident in ortho-
pedic surgery at Beaumont Hospital in
Royal Oak.
An August wedding is planned at the Four Season Hotel in Chicago, Ill.

West Bloomfield are delighted
to announce the engagement of
their son Laurence Adam Benenson to Sarah
Rose Lamoree, daughter of Beverly Lamoree
of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Charles Lamoree
of Jacksonville, Ore. Laurence is also the son
of Dr. Alan Benenson.
Sarah received a B.A. degree from the
University of California-Berkeley, a J.D.
degree from Harvard Law School and an
L.L.M. from Cambridge University. Laurence
received a B.A. from the University of
Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law
School.
Laurence and Sarah live and work as attorneys in metropolitan Washington,
D.C.
An October wedding is planned in Napa, Calif.
