thel Klavons of West Bloomfield
turned 100 on July 18. The happy
occasion was celebrated with
family and friends on her birthday at the
Hechtman I apartments, which Ethel calls
home. Her son Roger and daughter-in-law
Diana Richmond of Farmington Hills served
as hosts. Ethel is the proud grandmother
of Eric (Jess Reiss) Richmond formally of
S. Burlington, Vt., now living in Okemos,
Mich.; Scott (Lisa Kitain) Richmond of West
Bloomfield (getting married Aug. 8, 2010);
and Stephanie Richmond of St. Louis, Mo.
She received birthday wishes from many of
elected officials.
