PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, on June 7, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall of
the Charter Township of West Bloomfield, 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield,
Michigan, the Township Board shall meet for the purpose of reviewing and hearing
objections to the proposed special assessment roll that has been prepared and filed
with the Township Clerk for the Potomac Towne Road Improvement Project to pro-
vide road repaving and related improvements to Potomac Run, Potomac Run North,
Potomac Run South and Potomac Road East, which are private roads in the Township,
to benefit the 284 privately owned and used parcels of land in the proposed special as-
sessment district consisting of all condominium units in the following Potomac Towne
Condominium Subdivisions:
Potomac Towne I — 78 units
Potomac Towne H — 127 units
Potomac Towne III — 28 units
Potomac Towne IV — 24 units
Potomac Towne V — 27 units
The special assessment roll, prepared in accordance with the direction of the Township
Board after the public hearing on May 17, 2010, is based on a total estimated cost for
the improvement of $693,854.64, with the assessment against each parcel being
$2,443.16, to be paid over the five (5) year duration of the special assessment district.
A copy of the proposed special assessment roll describing all parcels of land to be
assessed, the names of the respective record owners and the amount to be assessed
against each parcel is on file and available for public examination in the Township
Clerk's Office, 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan, during normal
business hours.

The hearing may be adjourned from time to time without further notice. After the
hearing, at the same or subsequent meeting, the Township Board may confirm the
special assessment district and roll as presented or as amended or corrected by the
Township Board.
Objections to the special assessment roll must be filed in writing with the Township
Clerk before the close of the hearing or within such further time as the Township
Board may allow. In addition, appearance and protest at the hearing is required in
order to appeal the matters to be considered to the State Tax Tribunal. An owner or
party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear in person at the hearing or by filing a
written appearance and protest with the Township Clerk before the hearing in which
case a personal appearance is not required.
