celebrated her 95th birthday with
a brunch and concert at the new
Hechtman dining room April 25 with 100
relatives, friends and fellow residents. Her
grandson's band, Steppin In It, performed
with nephew Ricky May of the Schmaltz
Band sitting in on trumpet. Her children,
Tina and Ed Oxer, Pamela Shriman and
Patrick Frisco; grandchildren, Adam and
Kelly Oxer, Jeremy and Heather Oxer and
Joshua and Ann Shriman Davis, were joined
by great-grandchildren Noah and Joshua
Oxer, Annie and Lucy Oxer and Tahlia Wren
Davis, to celebrate.

Erin earned a bachelor of arts degree in
elementary education from Michigan State
University. She is an assistant women's soc-
cer coach at Loyola University Maryland.
Jonathan earned a bachelor of science
degree in physiology and neurobiology from
the University of Maryland and a doctor
of dental surgery from the University of
Maryland Dental School. He practices dentistry in Baltimore.
A November 2010 wedding is planned in Birmingham.
