Rolling Along

Sometimes the pins will just fall.

D

ave Riger bowled his second
sanctioned 300 game at the most
unlikely of places on the most
unlikely of nights.
The place was Hartfield Lanes in Berkley,
which isn't exactly known
for high scores. And the
night saw Riger sandwich
sub-par 191 and 192
games around his 300.
Riger averages about
210 in the Adcraft League
at Hartfield Lanes and
the
Brotherhood Eddie
Dave Riger
Jacobson B'nai B'rith
League at Country Lanes in Farmington
Hills.
"The 300 came out of nowhere, espe-
cially after the first strike of the game was a
Brooklyn hit'," Riger said.

He needed some other breaks along the
way to record the perfect game, but not on
his final three strikes. "They were no-doubt-
ers," he said.
Riger's other 300 was rolled in the Jewish
War Veterans League in 2007 at Drakeshire
Lanes in Farmington Hills.
The 37-year-old Farmington Hills resident
also has a pair of sanctioned 299 games.
They came in 2004 in the JWV League at
Drakeshire Lanes and 2006 in Brotherhood
Eddie Jacobson play at Country Lanes.
When he isn't bowling perfect games,
Riger is the producer of the "Handyman
Show" with Glenn Haege, a nationally synch-
cated radio show broadcast from WJR.

BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEMS

DON'T DEPEND ON A SECURITY SYSTEM
THAT DEPENDS ON A PHONE LINE.

The truth is phone lines are less reliable then ever. Many of us are now using. or switching
over to VoIP or digital phone service. Do you want to rely on limited, or no alarm service
when you really need it?

Vigilante Security provides high-quality alarm monitoring without a phone line, using high-
speed internet or built-in cellular. The cost to switch is affordable. Call Ron Ross, President
