RUTH BERMAN JACOBY, 87, of
Woodland Hills, Calif., died March 24,
2010.
She is survived by her husband,
Stanford Jacoby; son, Leslie Schneid of
West Bloomfield; daughter and son-
in-law, Joyce and Charles Seefeld of
Royal Oak; grandchildren, Lisa and Tim
Sokolowski, Rebecca and Brett Hansen,
Matthew Schneid, Michael Seefeld and
Joanne Seefeld; great-grandchildren,
Hannah, Mia and Presley.

Mrs. Jacoby was the beloved wife of the
late Louis Berman and the late Leonard
Schneid.
Interment at Beth Abraham Cemetery.

HERBERT PAUL LINER, 90, of
Farmington Hills, died March 25, 2010.
Born in Boston, Mass., he was the
youngest person that graduated from
Boston Latin School and was an active
alumni of that school. He was a World
War II veteran who was stationed in
North Africa and a member of the Jewish
War Veterans.
Mr. Liner was a public safety officer for
the Farmington Hills Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley
Liner; children, Marilyn and Harvey
Hortick of Bloomfield Hills, Judy and
Kent Siegel of West Bloomfield; daugh-
ter-in-law, Nikki Liner of Holly; grand-

children, Gregg and Tami Schultz, Terri
and Todd Stearn, Debbie and David
Chasnick, Fred and Dana Hortick, Marty
and Melissa Hortick, Zachary Liner,
Marc Siegel; great-grandchildren, Paige,
Maddie, Jack, Drew, Max, Talia; also sur-
vived by Shirley's children, Bob and Fern
Wallach, Diane Glazer and many grand-
children and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Liner was the father of the late
Barry Liner; husband of the late Rosalyn
Liner.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Services and inter-
ment were held at Beth El Memorial Park
in Livonia. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

BEVERLY LIPPITT, 71, of Bloomfield
Hills, died March 22, 2010.
She is survived by her husband,
Norman Lippitt; son, Alan Lippitt;
daughter, Abby Lippitt; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Robert and Donna Slatkin;
sister-in-law, Sarah Frank; nieces and
nephews.

Interment at Clover Hill Park

RONALD D. MACASKILL, 67, of West
Bloomfield, died March 26, 2010.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Wendy Macaskill; brother and sister-
in-law, Lloyd and Diane Macaskill of
Wilmington, N.C.; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Howard and Nancy
Shapiro; brother-in-law, Eric Shapiro and
Jonathan (Kirsten Mellor) Shapiro; niec-
es, Heather, Meredith and Lilah; nephew,
Zachary. Also survived by many other
loving family members and friends.
Interment was held at White Chapel
Cemetery in Troy. Contributions can be
