Kyla is a student at Walnut Creek
Middle School in Walled Lake. Her
most meaningful mitzvah project was
her involvement with SNAPS (Students
Need a Pal Program) at her school.

Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Among her many mitzvah proj-
ects, she felt volunteering at the Walk 4
Friendship was the most meaningful.

and the late Ben Shecter and the late
Henryk Kestenberg.
Shayni is a seventh grader at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. She has been
involved in many mitzvah projects
and is looking forward to volunteer-
ing with the West Bloomfield-based
Friendship Circle this year.

r. Eric and Patrice Phillips of West
loomfield and Dr. Malcolm and
Charlene Weckstein of Farmington
Hills are thrilled to announce the engagement
of their children Jennifer Lauren Phillips and
Daniel Howard Weckstein.
Jennifer received a bachelor of arts in
elementary education and a master of arts
in curriculum and teaching from Michigan
State University in East Lansing. She is
employed as a second-grade teacher at
Dublin Elementary School in Walled Lake
Consolidated Schools.
Daniel received a bachelor of science
in the environment and will receive his master's in information with a spe-
cialization in human-computer interaction from the University of Michigan
in December. He is employed as a remote sensing junior analyst at Sanborn
Solutions in Ann Arbor.
A June 2010 wedding is planned in Troy.
