EDITH GOODMAN,
98, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Sept. 28,
2009.
She was a vice
president of Temple
Israel Sisterhood, a
Newgarten Medical
Aide in Detroit after
World War II and is
the last of the "Naomi Girls."
Mrs. Goodman is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Shelley
Goodman and Dr. Steffan Taub of
Bloomfield Hills, Linda and Dr.
Ronald Rossen of California; son and
daughter-in-law, Harvey and Marlene
Goodman of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Adam and Tracy Taub,
Jennifer Taub and Michael Kuch,
Andrew and Diana Taub, Lainie and
Dr. Daniel Phillips, Stacey and Joe
Bernson, Jeremy and Gina Rossen,
Matthew Rossen and Jorden Bell, Ari
Rossen and Rachel Rossen; great-
grandchildren, Samantha and Elijah
Taub, Emily Barnes-Taub and Arella
Taub, Zoe and Blake Phillips, Sam
and Logan Bernson, Zachary, Asher,
Micah, Ava, Sasha and Dylan Rossen;
brother, Samuel Cohen of Canada;

She was the beloved wife of the
late Samuel L. Goodman and was
predeceased by four sisters and one
brother.

JOSEPH LEIBOVITZ, 93, of West

Bloomfield, died Sept. 27, 2009.
Mr. Leibovitz was in the furniture
business.
He is survived by his sister-in-law,

and friends.
He was the youngest and last sur-
viving child born to the late Samuel
and the late Ida Leibovitz.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

HERMAN PATLER, 100, of
Birmingham, died Sept. 26, 2009.
He was an insurance agent.
Mr. Patler is survived by his son,

He was the beloved husband of the
late Mary Patler; the loving brother
of the late Norman Patler, the late
Maynard Patler and the late Doris
Sloan.

NATHAN POLLACK, 83, of
Southfield, died Sept. 20, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche
Pollack; sons, Rabbi Daniel and

Portland, Maine; brothers and sisters-
in-law, Manny Pollack, Joseph Fred
