BLUMA
SCHREIBER
ELLMAN, 84, of

West Bloomfield,
died July 12, 2009.
She was a
longtime member
of Knollwood
Ellman
Country Club and
was very active
with Temple Israel Sisterhood and
Hadassah. Mrs. Ellman worked
with the blind and had published in
Braille The Love Story, on file in the
Library of Congress. She enjoyed
writing poetry and had published
some of her poetry in local news-
papers. She also enjoyed visiting
local nursing homes and arranged
activities for the residents.
Mrs. Ellman is survived by her
husband of 65 years, Irving Ellman;
son and daughter-in-law, Harry
and Peggy Ellman of Bloomfield
Hills; daughters and sons-in-law,
Carol and Robert Grumet of West
Bloomfield, Donna and Harris
Faberman of Colorado; grand-
children, Erica and Tal Izraeli,
Jeffrey Ellman and fiancee, Elyse
Fleischman, Danielle Grumet, Dr.
Joshua and Jamie Grumet, Monica
Faberman, Max Faberman; great-
grandchildren, Zachary and Brooke
Israeli.
She was the youngest of six
children of the late Nathan and
the late Anna Schreiber and was
predeceased by her siblings,
Sylka Bernstein, Mickey Fidler,
Evelyn Fink, Elaine Jacobson and
Raymond Schreiber.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
