ways to improve its product, and
provide more services to the public.
"We have a number of new
developments on the way," said
Jeff Polter, executive vice president
of product development. "Soon,
customers will be able to compare
similar programs around dental
and vision. We also have a mobile
application on the way that will
give consumers the ability to access
the site from their mobile phones,
even before they leave their doctor's
office."
The Troy-based company is
already making a difference for
numerous Americans, especially
those here in Michigan who are
particularly affected by the strug-
gling economy and the growing job
cuts.
"Since I just graduated from col-
lege and I'm in the process of look-
ing for a job, paying for my pre-
scription medications is definitely
a concern," said Nicole Lupiloff, 24,
of West Bloomfield." Medtipster is
so easy to use, and it offers a quick
way to lower the amount of money
I spend every month on prescrip-
tion drugs. It's a tremendous help!"
Lupiloff is a member of a grow-
ing population of young people
who are struggling with health care
costs. According to a recent CNN
report, there were 13.2-million
young adults without health insur-
ance in America, making them the
most rapidly growing group of the
total 46 million Americans without
health insurance.
Seniors are another group strug-
gling to afford their healthcare
costs, and for many, switching to
generic drugs can make all the dif-
ference. The AARP recently stated
that switching to generics can save
seniors hundreds of dollars or more
each year individually.
"Medtipster is an incredibly
valuable tool to help consumers
maintain their healthcare and their
budgets," said Dr. Richard Brown,
president of Park Medical Centers
in Southfield and a practicing phy-
sician.
"In today's economic climate,
more and more Americans are
being forced to choose between
their prescriptions and other neces-
sities, including food. Switching
to generic drugs is a great way to
make healthcare costs more afford-
able, and Medtipster makes this a
simple, manageable process."

'Guarantees provided by life insurance .products are subject to the dams-paying ability of the isaling insurance company.
There are risks involved with Annuity Arbitrage that need to be considered such as commissions, fees, expenses, surrender charges, premiums, illiquidity. The differences in methods of pricing
products between the different insurance carriers may not be sufficient for the strategy to be effective. If an annuitant lives beyond nisiher life expectancy, payments will continue at the same
dollar value but may become taxable entirely as ordinary income. Any policy withdrawals, loans, and interest will reduce policy values and may reduce benefits or cause the policy to lapse.
