The Frank W. Kerr Company
joins the Davidson Family
and the world of retail community pharmacy
in mourning the passing
of one of its earliest visionaries and pioneers

William M. Davidson

Through "Kerr", the company he acquired in
1951, those who would become giants of
community pharmacy found a supplier and
partner that enabled them to 're-invent' the
pharmacy supply-chain. Companies like Revco, K-
Mart, Arbor, Meijer and Sav-Mor became
household names and helped to make Michigan a
pioneer to the nation. Mr. "D's" integrity, vision
and practical wisdom inspired our management
then, as his example does today. All of us have
lost a great friend, a great leader and a man of
unique foresight.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire
Davidson family and may they be comforted
among the mourners of Zion.
