Educator of the Year by the PTSA
organization at Norup. The award
stated in part that Weiss "serves

Challenge Day to Norup this past
December."

MSU Hillel Dinner

will hold its fourth annual "Inspiring
Future Leaders" dinner on Sunday,
April 19, at the University Club.
MSU Hillel will honor MSU Trustee
Faylene Owen and Ambassador
Larry Owen. Speakers will include
MSU coaches Tom Izzo, Mark
Dantonio and Suzy Merchant.
Faylene Owen, who serves on
the MSU Hillel board, was elected
statewide to an eight-year term on
the MSU Board of Trustees, where
she is chair of the finance commit-
tee.
Attorney Larry Owen was a prin-
cipal in the law firm Miller Canfield
and was elected to the East Lansing
