Accountants Seminar
The Accountants Unit of the
Great Lakes Region of B'nai B'rith
International will present Samuel L.
Hodges, past chair of the State and
Local Taxation Committee of the
Michigan Association of Certified
Public Accountants, to conduct a semi-
nar on the new Michigan Business Tax.
The program will be held Tuesday,
Dec. 16, in the conference suite of
the Max M. Fisher Building, 6735
Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Township.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with a
continental breakfast and the program
will run from 8 a.m. until noon. The
program qualifies for four hours of

Continuing Professional Education.
The cost of the seminar and break-
fast is $85 ($75 for 2009 B'nai B'rith
members).
Hodges has more than 25 years of
experience in public accounting. Now
with Sam Hodges & Associates LLC
in Southfield, he is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and a board member of
the Michigan Association of Certified
Public Accountants. He is a frequent
speaker and lecturer on the intrica-
cies of Michigan's Single Business
Tax, Michigan's new Business Tax
and other current state and local tax
issues.

Value company, is the recipient of the
Professional Convention Management
Association 2008 Distinguished
Meeting Professional of the Year
