Mrs. Neuman is survived by her
beloved husband of 57 years, Sidney
Neuman; daughter Miriam Neuman
Farber of Farmington Hills; son and
daughter-in-law, Harry and Lauren
Neuman of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Shirah and Alaina Farber,
Marissa and Avery Neuman; brother
and sister-in-law, Michael and Judy
Reznik of Oak Park; many nieces and
nephews.
She was the daughter of the late
Sonia and the late Motel Reznik and
the late Motel Fineman; sister of the
late Joseph Fineman; daughter-in-law
of the late Helen and the late Abram
Neuman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery in Birmingham.

91, of Oak Park,
died Nov. 28, 2008.

grandchildren, Joshua, Penina,
Orin and Kaia Rubin; sisters-in-law
and brothers-in-law, Betty and Sol
Jacobson, Norm and Sharon Sciffer.
Mr. Rubin was the beloved husband
of the late Sylvia Rubin.

DAVID H. RUBIN, 74, of Southfield,
died Nov. 20, 2008.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marilyn Rubin; son and partner, Joel
Rubin and Jeffrey Mar of Royal Oak;
daughter and son-in-law, Judith and
Sy Berman of West Bloomfield; son-
in-law, Ray Altman; grandchildren,
Aaron and Leah Berman, Gabby and
Danielle Altman.
Mr. Rubin was the dear father of
the late Linda Altman.
Interment at the Beth El Memorial
Park in Livonia. Contributions may

ELINOR MANDEL
SALTZ, 92, of
Southfield, died Nov.
18, 2008.
Born in Brooklyn,
N.Y., she received
her BA from
Brooklyn College
Saltz
and Hunter College
and MBA from New York University.
She was an assistant notions buyer at
B. Altman department store in New
York City when she recruited to come
to Detroit in 1942 to be head buyer
of three departments at Crowley
Milner Co.
In 1948, she left Crowley's to open
the Linen Closet at Livernois and
Seven Mile in Detroit, later relocated
to Maple and Telegraph, where it
remained until she retired in 1991.
Mrs. Saltz is survived by her chil-
dren, Dr. Daniella Saltz and Dani
Katsir of West Bloomfield, Dr. Glenn
Saltz of Aptos, Calif.; grandchildren,
Karen Katsir Scott and Kennan Scott,
Carmi Katsir, Jacob Saltz, Alexander
Saltz, Hailly Katzir Frankl and Amir
Frankl; great-grandchildren, Mia and
Yuval Frankl; her cherished sister,
Evelyn "Sweetie" Solomon; loving
nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-
nephews, other relatives, friends;
devoted caregivers, Eleanor Carden,
Sherry Chungang and Helena Miller.
She was married to the love of her
life and business partner, the late
