Mrs. Neuman is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Sidney Neuman; daughter Miriam Neuman Farber of Farmington Hills; son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Lauren Neuman of West Bloomfield; grand- children, Shirah and Alaina Farber, Marissa and Avery Neuman; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Judy Reznik of Oak Park; many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Sonia and the late Motel Reznik and the late Motel Fineman; sister of the late Joseph Fineman; daughter-in-law of the late Helen and the late Abram Neuman. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she received her BA from Brooklyn College Saltz and Hunter College and MBA from New York University. She was an assistant notions buyer at B. Altman department store in New York City when she recruited to come to Detroit in 1942 to be head buyer of three departments at Crowley Milner Co. In 1948, she left Crowley's to open the Linen Closet at Livernois and Seven Mile in Detroit, later relocated to Maple and Telegraph, where it remained until she retired in 1991.
