Cassi (Himmelstein) and Michael
Cohen of Chicago announce with
much love the birth of their fourth
daughter, Quinn Regan. Sharing
in their joy are her three older sis-
ters, Jaden Rose, Madison Reese
and Logan Rae. Grandparents
are Esther and Morry Wexler of
Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of West
Bloomfield, and Margaret and J.D.
Himmelstein of Cincinnati. She is
also the granddaughter of the late
Ronald Cohen. Great-grandparents
are Harriet Himmelstein, the late
Joseph Himmelstein, Rose and David
Feldstein and Mary and Lou Cohen.
Quinn Regan is named after her
maternal great-grandfather Joseph
Himmelstein.

Anya attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She felt
her volunteer services at Orchards
Children's Services was the most
meaningful of her mitzvah projects.

Abigael Elizabeth
Finkle of Buffalo
Grove, Ill., will be
called to the Torah
as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Sept. 6, at
Congregation Beth
Judea in Long Grove,
Finkle
Ill. Her proud par-
ents are Davida and
Scott Finkle; her mother is formerly of
Southfield. Abby is the sister of Joshua
and Jamie and the granddaughter
of Faith Finkle of Buffalo Grove. She
is also the granddaughter of the late
Shirley and the late Harry Markowitz
as well as the late Morrie Finkle.
Abby is an eighth-grader at Twin
Groves Junior High School in Buffalo
Grove. She participated in Beth Judea's
13 mitzvot program, which included
volunteering at the local library.

called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills
on Saturday, Sept.
Cohen
6. He is the son of
Debbie Cohen. He is
also the brother of Evan. Michael is the
grandson of the late Lawrence Wizel
and the late Molly Wizel. He is the
great-grandson of Sara Galer and the
late Morris Galer.
Michael is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. His mitzvah projects
included donating his hair to make
wigs for child cancer patients.

Lauren Michelle
Kunin will read from
the Torah as she
celebrates her bat
mitzvah Friday, Sept.
5, at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield.
Her parents are Jerry
Kunin
Kunin and Linda
Kunin. She is the
grandchild of Mollie Cohen and the
late Henry Cohen, the late Rose Kunin
and the late William Kunin.
Lauren attends Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
involves participating in several online
support groups for children who have
Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).
