He taught physics and math at
Lawrence Technological University.
He had a keen sense of humor and
was an unrepentant purveyor of
puns, which he used to unnerve
his bridge opponents. He was also
known for his whimsical poetry,
which he often used to celebrate
the retirement of colleagues and
other special occasions.
Mr. Lenhoff is survived by his
wife, Sarah Lenhoff of Boca Raton
and West Bloomfield; daughter and
son-in-law, Gail and Ronald Vroon
of Los Angeles; son and daughter-
in-law, Alan and Pamela Lenhoff
of Birmingham; grandchildren,
Allison and Alex Lenhoff; sister-in-
law, Myrtle Lenhoff.
He was the beloved brother of
the late Harold Lenhoff.
Private interment. Contributions

MORRIS MERSKY, 91, of Yellow
Springs, Ohio, died July 26, 2008.
An Army Air Corps pilot vet-
eran of World War II, he became
a manufacturer of grocery store
equipment. He held the original
patent of grocery store conveyor
belts, among other patents.
Mr. Mersky is survived by
daughters and a son-in-law, Jane
and Alan Leder of Evanston, Ill.,
Elizabeth Mersky of Cedarville,
Ohio; son, John Mersky; grandson,
Joshua Kahan; brother and sisters-
in-law, Milton and Inez Mersky,
Lenny Saulson; brother-in-law,
Daniel Saulson.
He was the beloved husband of
the late Helen Shirley Mersky, who
died July 2, 2008; the cherished
brother of the late Dvora Waxer and
the late William Mersky; the dear
brother-in-law of the late Sydelle
Saulson and the late Stanley Saulson.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
