(Janice) of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter,
Shelley Freeman (Neal) of Melbourne,
Fla.; grandchildren, Kyle and Megan
Meyerson, both of Lincoln, and Lev,
Rebecca, and Joshua Freeman, all of
Melbourne; sister, Joy Dash of Boca
Raton, Fla.; nephew, Michael Dash
(Joan) of New York City.
Memorial services were held
at Riverside-Gordon Memorial
Chapel, 7205 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray
Beach, Fla. Interment at Florida
Memorial Gardens, Rockledge,
Fla. Contributions may be made to
Florida Atlantic University, Lifelong
Learning Society, 777 Glades Road,
P.O. Box 3091, Boca Raton, FL 33431-
0991.

LOUIS ROGOVEIN, 92, of
Farmington Hills, died July 15, 2008.
The owner of Atlas Scrap Iron and
Metal Company, he was also the past
president of Scrap Iron Institute, a
Mason and member of Mosaic Lodge.
He played tennis until February of
this year.
Mr. Rogovein is survived by
daughters and sons-in-law, Dena and
Martin Golden of Walled Lake, Linda
and Alan Kristall of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Lisa and Craig
Kruman, Eric Golden, Jennifer and
Rob Cohon, Brian Kristall; great-
grandchildren, Jeremy Kruman,
Rachel Kruman, Benjamin Cohon
and Sara Cohon; sister, Zelda Zeldes;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Helen and Les Scammel, Harry and
Sylvia Berman, Ivan Katzman; best
friend, Chuck Berman.
He was the beloved husband of
the late Sara Rogovein; the cherished
brother and brother-in-law of the late
Tommy and the late Bert Rogovein,
the late Eddie and the late Bea
Rogovin, the late Irving and the late
Ida Rogovein, the late Leonard and
the late Mona Ross, the late Jay and
the late Bob Landy, the late Flo and
the late Morrie Lawson, the late Clara
Katzman, the late Dora Joseph, the
late Lilly Berman, the late Irving and
the late Shirley Berman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Jewish
Hospice and Chaplaincy Network,
Temple Israel or a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.
