Calif.; grandchildren, Dena (Jerry)
Loughlin, Jason Savine, Gary (Irene)

(Carol) Sher; great-grandchildren, Jesse,
Evan, Seth, Andrew and Samuel.

MILDRED "MICKEY" SCHNEIDER, 90,
of Southfield, died May 13, 2008.
She is survived by her son, Steven
Schneider of Southfield; daughter and
son-in-law, Annette and Martin Newman
of Waterford; sister and brother-in-law,
Evelyn and Sidney Levine of Southfield;
grandchildren, Deirdre Beth Newman,
David and Lynne Newman, Sara and Corey
Marx, Rhonda and Jeff Schwartz; great-
grandchildren, Sydney Newman, Rikki
Newman, Logan Marx, Noah Schwartz,
Ariana Schwartz.
Mrs. Schneider was the beloved wife of
the late Philip Schneider; loving sister of
the late Morris Krut.

MADELEINE SHAPIRO, 67, of Royal Oak,
died May 12, 2008. She was a reference
librarian at the Detroit Public Library for
over 35 years.
Ms. Shapiro is survived by her brother-
in-law, Michael Cohen; nephews and
nieces, David and Tracy Cohen, Miriam
and Michael Salpeter; great-nieces and
great-nephews, Hannah Cohen, Daniel, Ben
and Nathan Salpeter; many friends that
she considered family.
She was the beloved daughter of the
late Ruth Shaprio; loving sister of the late
Stephanie Cohen.

WILLIAM "BILL" SIMON, 88, of West

He is survived by his wife, Maxine

Schey; family members, Julie Borim,

Mr. Simon was the loving father of the
late Ilyse Marcy Gontovnik; dear brother of
the late Bert Simon, the late Irving Simon,
the late Edna Silk, the late Jeannnette, the
late Sylvia.

ETHEL WILDSTROM, 91, of Farmington
Hills, died May 17, 2008.A legal aide for the
state of Michigan, she was also a member
of B'nai B'rith, Hadassah and Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
Mrs. Wildtsrom is survived by her broth-
er and sister-in-law, Sidney and Monique
Baker of Toronto.
She was the beloved wife for 44 years of
the late Solomon Wildstrom.
Interment at Shaar Hashomayim
Cemetery in Windsor. Contributions
