EUGENE LEVINE,
85, of Sarasota, Fla.,
and Petoskey, died
April 17, 2008, in
Sarasota.
He was a loving
husband, father,
grandfather and
Levine
great-grandfather.
Born in Mount
Clemens to Harry
and Pauline Levine, he served in
World War II in the U.S. Air Force. He
returned to work in the family busi-
ness, Lakeside Fuel & Supply Company
in Mount Clemens, which he later
owned and operated with his wife,
Gloria.
He will be greatly missed by his wife
of 61 years, Gloria; daughters Carol
(Gary) Hurand, Trudy (Arthur) Weiss,
Harriet Lewis; grandchildren Joshua
Hurand, Sara Hurand (Elie Weiss),
Aaron Weiss, Rachel (Benjamin)
Berger, Leah Weiss, Annie (Ken)
Mandelkern, and Deborah Lewis;
great-grandchildren, Eitan Weiss and
Tovah Libi Berger; sister, Hilda Haber;
sister-in-law, Audree Horwitz; sister-
in-law and brother-in-law, Henriette
and Leo Kaplan; many nieces, neph-
ews and friends.

HARRY LUDWIN, 94, formerly of

Jersey City, N.J. of Silver Springs, Md.,
died April 14, 2008.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Alvin and Eileen
Ludwin of Randolph Twp., N.J., Elliot
and Sharon Ludwin of Edison, N.J.;
daughters and sons-in-law, Tamar
and Dr. Gene Sussman of Potomac,
Md., B.J. and Gary Berkowitz of West
Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren
Mr. Ludwin was the beloved hus-
band of the late Rose Ludwin.
Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery
in Fairview, N.J. Contributions may

linen supply manager.
