MANUEL FERTELL, 84, of Los
Angeles, died April 17, 2008.
He is survived by his son, Eliot
Fertell of Lake Balboa, Calif.;
daughter and son-in-law, Deborah
and Alan Phillips of Commerce,
Amy Fertell of Huntington Woods;
brother, Leon Fertell of Livonia; sis-
ter, Mille Rosenblum of Oak Park;
grandchildren, Joshua and Daniel
Phillips; former spouse, Jacqueline
Fertell.
Mr. Fertell was the brother
of the late Faye (the late Julius)
Passerman and the late Edward
(the late Sophie) Fertell.
Interment at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

LOUISE FATERNICK, 79, formerly
of Oak Park of Desert Hot Springs,
Calif., died March 18, 2008.
She is survived by her son,
Robert; daughter, Kathy; brother,
Marvin Morrison.
She was the devoted wife of the
late Donald Fatemick; mother of
the late Bruce Faternick.
Graveside services were held in
Los Angeles.

JEROME A. HACK, 94, of
Farmington Hills, died April 19,
2008.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Shirley Hack; daughters and
son-in-law, Carol Kliman of West
Bloomfield, Andrea and Allan
Gordon of West Bloomfield; son,
Richard Emery of Eastpointe;
grandchildren, Steven (Robin
Hoffman) Kliman, Marla (Terry)
Mendelson, Hillary (Larry)
Lieberman, Jessica Gordon (fiance,
Roger Anderson), and Joshua
Gordon; great-grandchildren, Loni,
Isabella and Jacob; many other lov-
ing family members and friends.
Mr. Hack was the beloved hus-
band of the late Helen Hack; broth-
er of the late Leonard Hack and the
late Sylvia Miller; father-in-law of
the late Louis Kliman.
Interment at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may
be made to the Beaumont Hospice
Fund or to the American Heart
Association. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
