Reaching For Roots
Individuals who are interested in
researching family history have a second
opportunity to learn from a member
of Adat Shalom Synagogue who is an
expert in genealogical research. Marc
Manson will offer a new series of classes
at the synagogue in Farmington Hills
beginning 7 p.m. Thursday, March 6.
The first two sessions, "Genealogy
101," will show that ancestors' records of
do exist. The next two classes focus on
"Resources and Research Tec hniques."
The final sessions are on "Advanced
Research and Problem Solving
Techniques:'
There is a $72 fee per participant,
$36 of which will pay for a one-year
membership in the Jewish Genealogical

Memorial Center Library in Farmington
Hills, where participants will be shown
how to use the resources there to do
family history and genealogy research.
