JACK MILLER, 87, of Southfield, died
Jan. 30, 2008.
He is survived by his daughters,
Debbie Bakshi of Southfield, Marcia
Miller of Southfield; grandchildren,
Mark Bakshi, Renee and Jim Wells;
great-grandchildren, Abrea Shae Wells,
Sarah Rachel Wells.
Mr. Miller was the beloved husband
of the late Sarah Miller; loving father-
in-law of the late Josef Bakshi.
Contributions may be made to

at Clover Hill Park Cemetery in
Birmingham. Services were held at
Clover Hill Park Chapel. Arrangements

BERNARD "BUD"
NOLISH, 85, of

died Feb. 2, 2008. A
salesperson, driver
and teamster for 37
years with Superior
Linen Supply, Mr.
Nolish
Nolish was a deco-
rated World War II
Marine veteran in the First Division,
worked with the Navajo Code Talkers
and served in the South Pacific. He
was also an eight-year volunteer with
the Auxiliary Southfield Police with
the rank of lieutenant and was a
member of the Free Masons.
Mr. Nolish is survived by his loving
daughter, Cheryl Nolish-Klein of New
York; son, Howard Nolish; grand-
children, Filip, Eron and Gena Klein;
brother, Myron Nolish; brothers-
in-law and sisters-in-law, Dr. Harry
Wenner, Sally Lux; loving companion,
Sue Insley; many nieces, nephews,

other relatives and friends.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Norma Nolish; the dear brother of
the late Elayne Wenner; the cherished
brother-in-law of the late Sylvia Nolish
and the late Nathan Lux.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may

ILENE SALMONS, 78, of Kentwood,
died Jan. 30, 2008.
She was a member of Beit Kodesh
Synagogue in Livonia and its sister-
hood as well as the Women's Auxiliary
of Disabled American Veterans, #114.
Mrs. Salmons is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn
and Elliott Scherman of Redford,
Darlene Combs of Kentwood, Brenda
and Robert Hanna; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Steven and Cori Salmons
of Baldwin; seven grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Tommy Salmons.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made

Michigan Chapter, Metro Detroit
